The Town Hall of Tomares transforms the Patio de las Buganvillas into an open-air cinema every Tuesday in July and August, with free entry and a snack bar. The first screening, 'How to Train Your Dragon', will be on July 7 at 22:30 hours.

On Tuesday, July 7, at 22:30 hours, the Patio de las Buganvillas of the Town Hall of Tomares becomes a summer cinema. The initiative, which returns after last year's success, offers films for all ages under the stars, with free entry until capacity is reached.

A Charming Patio for Open-Air Cinema

The chosen venue is the Patio de las Buganvillas of the Hacienda Santa Ana, the seat of the Town Hall. There, the Town Hall has installed a giant screen and seats for residents to enjoy the seventh art in a unique setting. Entry is free and access is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The summer cinema kicks off on July 7 with 'How to Train Your Dragon', an animated film that will delight the little ones. It will be followed by 'Wild Robot' (July 14), 'The Big House' (July 21), and 'Jurassic World: The Rebirth' (July 28).

Summer Schedule and Snack Bar Service

During July, screenings will start at 22:30 hours. In August, the time is moved forward to 22:00 hours to adapt to sunset. The August lineup includes titles such as 'Ne Zha 2' (August 4), 'Superman' (August 11), 'Mission Impossible: Final Sentence' (August 18), and 'Sketch' (August 25).

In addition to the cinema, the Patio de las Buganvillas will feature a snack bar service where soft drinks, tapas, and of course, popcorn can be purchased. A proposal that turns the evening into a complete plan for the whole family.

A Commitment to Local Leisure

The Town Hall of Tomares has organised this second edition of the summer cinema with the aim of providing cultural leisure alternatives for residents during the summer nights. The initiative seeks to promote coexistence and enjoyment with family, taking advantage of such an emblematic space as the Patio de las Buganvillas.

For those who cannot attend the first screening, no problem: the event takes place every Tuesday in July and August. So there are eight opportunities to enjoy cinema in the fresh air. The only downside is that capacity is limited, so it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot.

More information can be found on the social media of the Town Hall of Tomares and on its official website.
